Episode 207

207: Neck Massager - 5 Star Review

Tensions run high as the Queens kvetch about bad drivers in left turn lanes, but the mood quickly softens thanks to a surprise birthday gift from Chelsey to Trey: an electric Shiatsu neck massager! 🎁

While Trey unwraps and tests the massager LIVE on air, Chelsey reads a 5 Star Amazon Review by Jacqueline W., who claims the device is “my new best friend… sorry family.” 💅 With features like heat, deep kneading, and a “Brookstone feel,” this review sends the Queens on a wild ride of satisfaction, skepticism, and vibrating bliss.

PLUS: A Royal Highness induction for elevator solitude, and a very relaxed tease for this week’s After Show Pod review.

Speaker:

Everybody's got an opinion.

Speaker:

Every Californian in Virginia, it's so hard to tell who to cho and who to ignore.

Speaker:

Someone's gotta settle the score.

Speaker:

Trey and Chelsey will help you choose who's win, which.

Speaker:

Hello.

Speaker:

Well, hello and welcome to Review That Review.

Speaker:

We are the podcast that is dedicated to reviewing reviews.

Speaker:

That is a very chipper Chelsey Donn,

Speaker:

and that is a moderately chipper Trey Gerrald.

Speaker:

But together we balance it out and we are

Speaker:

the review queens.

Speaker:

That's right.

Speaker:

And speaking about balance, Trey here at Review, that Review,

Speaker:

we do believe in balance, the good, the bad, and the kvetchy.

Speaker:

So it's only fair that we take a moment to vetch it out.

Speaker:

Would you like to a complaint?

Speaker:

Why?

Speaker:

Yes, I would.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

This is gonna be a twofold complaint because okay.

Speaker:

It goes left ready and it goes right.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Today I need to lodge a complaint

Speaker:

against left and

Speaker:

right turn lights.

Speaker:

So when you are at a stoplight,

Speaker:

okay,

Speaker:

and you need to turn left, yes.

Speaker:

That sometimes has different configurations of timing, right?

Speaker:

My complaint is.

Speaker:

When you are the first car and there are cars behind you,

Speaker:

you can't be multitasking.

Speaker:

You need to be paying attention.

Speaker:

You need to be like pressing the gas pedal as soon as it turns green.

Speaker:

You have the largest responsibility in the domino scenario, and I recognize like we

Speaker:

are busy, we're doing things, but it is illegal to be on your cell phone, right.

Speaker:

Now cell phones connect to the car.

Speaker:

So you can be looking at like the monitor in your car.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

Okay, great.

Speaker:

But as soon as this way traffic stops

Speaker:

mm-hmm.

Speaker:

You should

Speaker:

be aware that you're gonna be next.

Speaker:

Nothing drives me crazier than like 1, 2, 3 seconds going by.

Speaker:

'cause at that point I'm doing this.

Speaker:

If you're just listening, I, I'm like, I'm hovering about pushing the horn.

Speaker:

I'm afraid to honk.

Speaker:

I have the thing about I'm afraid to honk.

Speaker:

I am outrageously road ragey, like my husband will tell you.

Speaker:

It's like we'll be in a conversation and I'm instantly like, scream,

Speaker:

cussing, but I, I don't wanna be killed.

Speaker:

So I have like an issue of confrontation.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

So as the two, three seconds are go, it's like, do, do.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

So if you are first in a left turn light, just please freaking pay attention.

Speaker:

Just focus you.

Speaker:

As Ellen DeGeneres once said, if something requires both hands to do it, your brain

Speaker:

should probably be involved as well.

Speaker:

Mm.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

She's problematic, but whatever.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

I need to complain about the right turn lane.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Because it's the same situation if you were the first in a series of cars,

Speaker:

especially when you're in metropol areas where there are, um, crosswalks.

Speaker:

For some reason the turn lane and the walking sometimes happen at the same time,

Speaker:

which literally makes no sense to me.

Speaker:

It happens with left learn as well.

Speaker:

Two days ago, I was the second car, the woman in front of me.

Speaker:

Was looking down the light turned green turn lane.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

So I went, honk.

Speaker:

This branch didn't even look up.

Speaker:

I saw her head, her head like this.

Speaker:

So I went, honk, honk.

Speaker:

She didn't look up.

Speaker:

So then I go honk.

Speaker:

She didn't look up the turn lane turned yellow and I went, are you kidding me?

Speaker:

And then it went away.

Speaker:

We missed the entire turn light and this branch didn't look

Speaker:

up at honk, honk, honk, honk.

Speaker:

She never looked up.

Speaker:

Oh my God.

Speaker:

That's how important her cell phone is to her.

Speaker:

How do you, I, anytime I hear a honk, I go, oh, Jesus.

Speaker:

She didn't even look up.

Speaker:

And I was passive aggressive and I went, Aw, she didn't even look.

Speaker:

We missed the turn light.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

I'm so angry.

Speaker:

I'm in an angry phase of life, I guess.

Speaker:

'cause these complaints are really severe to me.

Speaker:

They're not like silly to me anymore.

Speaker:

They're actually really angry, and then I get so angry as I'm reliving them.

Speaker:

That's my complaint.

Speaker:

Chelsey, can you make me feel better?

Speaker:

I think I can.

Speaker:

I mean, I totally hear you.

Speaker:

I totally validate that experience.

Speaker:

I always tell everyone, driving is a team sport.

Speaker:

Even when I'm driving my niece and nephews, I'm like,

Speaker:

guys, don't be this person.

Speaker:

Driving is a team sport.

Speaker:

If you're first in line, you gotta be alert.

Speaker:

You have a job, you have a job.

Speaker:

You gotta do it.

Speaker:

It makes me so heated.

Speaker:

I get it.

Speaker:

It's, it's a very good complaint.

Speaker:

I can't believe we haven't done this before.

Speaker:

This is something that bothers me.

Speaker:

Definitely weekly.

Speaker:

And when you have a good person in the front, you're like, yeah,

Speaker:

that person knows what's up.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

That's a Royal Highness induction.

Speaker:

That's

Speaker:

a royal highness.

Speaker:

Like that person gets it,

Speaker:

but like missing the light entirely is wild.

Speaker:

Why Joel and,

Speaker:

and like definitely infuriating.

Speaker:

And then I saw her head pop up when it wasn't there anymore.

Speaker:

So didn't even know she was

Speaker:

probably on TikTok or some shit.

Speaker:

She

Speaker:

didn't even know.

Speaker:

No, she didn't know.

Speaker:

So she shouldn't be behind the wheel know.

Speaker:

No, I agree.

Speaker:

That's my co player.

Speaker:

There should

Speaker:

be like a test for the DMV where they take away your phone for like an hour

Speaker:

and see how like wake down you can get

Speaker:

if you bus Yeah,

Speaker:

yeah.

Speaker:

If you could bust, you don't have a license.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

Great complaint, Trey.

Speaker:

Love that.

Speaker:

Thank you for holding

Speaker:

the space for me.

Speaker:

Anytime.

Speaker:

I'll, I'll give you a little crystal moment.

Speaker:

I'm gonna remove all that negative energy.

Speaker:

Take a deep breath and should we move on the, let's

Speaker:

do it.

Speaker:

But before we do.

Speaker:

Hello.

Speaker:

Speaker:

It's very quick and easy.

Speaker:

We always love hearing from you.

Speaker:

Comment why.

Speaker:

All right, well, let's do the show.

Speaker:

Let's do it.

Speaker:

Let's do it.

Speaker:

Review that review.

Speaker:

I am angry.

Speaker:

I'm angry.

Speaker:

I don't know why I'm so angry about it.

Speaker:

I have to let it go.

Speaker:

As your trustee review Queens, we bring in internet reviews that

Speaker:

we feel need to be inspected.

Speaker:

We read a review, we break it down together.

Speaker:

We rate the impact of that review on a scale from zero to five crowns.

Speaker:

It's a very regal process that Chelsey and I have coined, and

Speaker:

that is called Assess that.

Speaker:

That's right.

Speaker:

Now Miss Chelsey Goose, what have you brought in for us today?

Speaker:

I'll try.

Speaker:

I just, I had a little psychic intuition that maybe you needed to relax a little

Speaker:

bit, you know, and you've been tense.

Speaker:

I've been feeling this from you, and I know what makes me feel

Speaker:

better when I'm tense is presence.

Speaker:

I love presence, opening presence, so.

Speaker:

Did you happen to get something in the mail?

Speaker:

You know, like maybe I forgot your birthday on live on the

Speaker:

show, and I, I felt like I needed to send you a little something.

Speaker:

Did you get it?

Speaker:

Is it maybe this giant box that I have next to me?

Speaker:

It's that.

Speaker:

Would you like to open it?

Speaker:

And while you open it, yes, I will do this.

Speaker:

Is this a grandma shake?

Speaker:

Nope.

Speaker:

Oh, the birthday song.

Speaker:

Happy birthday.

Speaker:

A little happy.

Speaker:

Happy birthday.

Speaker:

Happy birthday.

Speaker:

A little happy.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

He's opening it.

Speaker:

It's happening.

Speaker:

Here we go.

Speaker:

Here we go.

Speaker:

More

Speaker:

packaging.

Speaker:

More packaging.

Speaker:

Oh, it's wrapped because she went for the upgrade.

Speaker:

Look at that.

Speaker:

It's like in Santa's pouch.

Speaker:

It's

Speaker:

very tall.

Speaker:

Um.

Speaker:

It is very funny 'cause it's May 21st and my birthday was March 14th, but

Speaker:

we record early, so that's May 21st

Speaker:

is my sister's birthday, so it still sort of works.

Speaker:

Let's say that

Speaker:

she ain't got nothing to to do with me.

Speaker:

This is about me.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Yeah, this is about you.

Speaker:

Just

Speaker:

kidding, Lindsay.

Speaker:

Okay, you just say your sister or your sister-in-law?

Speaker:

My sister.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Happy birthday.

Speaker:

RQT.

Speaker:

I'm forever grateful to have you in my life.

Speaker:

Hope this year brings you all you want and more.

Speaker:

Love you from RQC.

Speaker:

That's me.

Speaker:

Such beautiful handwriting.

Speaker:

Oh, thank you.

Speaker:

Yeah, I've been taking calligraphy classes.

Speaker:

Woo.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

So it's a big, like green bushel, like a Santa Sack, and Trey is gonna open it

Speaker:

and see this has been here a while.

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

I think you could use it.

Speaker:

I'll just say that.

Speaker:

Tissue, tissue, tissue paper.

Speaker:

Just kidding.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

What is it?

Speaker:

What could it be?

Speaker:

Tray?

Speaker:

I If it's like a massage thingy.

Speaker:

Oh, is that what you're wondering?

Speaker:

My god, I've seen these.

Speaker:

I've wanted these.

Speaker:

Oh, you down on your neck?

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

Do you wanna describe it?

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Anyone that's just listening, this is a very sleek black

Speaker:

box that says neck massager.

Speaker:

And then on the other side there's a beautiful image.

Speaker:

These are, it's like, looks like it's leatherette and it's like you put

Speaker:

it over your shoulders and then it goes, you loop your hands through.

Speaker:

Um, it says high quality leather.

Speaker:

Oh, high quality leather.

Speaker:

Mm-hmm.

Speaker:

Vehicle charging.

Speaker:

No, you can put this in your car.

Speaker:

Fine zipper, breathable mesh.

Speaker:

It must be provided in the trip.

Speaker:

Oh, oh.

Speaker:

So the full title of this product is Air Laying Shiatsu Back and

Speaker:

Neck Massager, back Massager, deep Tissue Kneading Massager, neck

Speaker:

and Shoulder Massager with Heat.

Speaker:

Electric four D massage pillow, father's Day dad, gifts

Speaker:

from daughter, not cordless.

Speaker:

So that's why I did ask Trey before we recorded if he had an outlet.

Speaker:

It's super coloristic.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

So does it have to be in the car though?

Speaker:

No.

Speaker:

No.

Speaker:

Probably just as a car adopter.

Speaker:

Oh, yep.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Thank God.

Speaker:

I was like, what?

Speaker:

No.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Happy.

Speaker:

Happy birthday.

Speaker:

Little late.

Speaker:

Sorry.

Speaker:

Happy, happy

Speaker:

birthday my head again.

Speaker:

Okay, there we

Speaker:

go.

Speaker:

I know, it's, it's just, you know, should

Speaker:

I like plug it in while we do the review?

Speaker:

So

Speaker:

this is my thinking.

Speaker:

I would like you to sit back, relax, and get a massage while I read this

Speaker:

review that was written by Jacqueline.

Speaker:

W that way as I read this five star review mm-hmm.

Speaker:

In real time.

Speaker:

That was just from a few months ago.

Speaker:

You can tell me if you agree at the end of the review.

Speaker:

When we go ahead and review Jacqueline W's review it, give tries.

Speaker:

To plug it in,

Speaker:

like in a good way.

Speaker:

Like, it's like, um, it's, it doesn't feel like, it doesn't feel cheap.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

It's like, uh, it seems substantial.

Speaker:

Irey feels very like Brook

Speaker:

Stoney to me.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

Wait,

Speaker:

is it hard to figure out how to use it?

Speaker:

Do you have to put your arms through it?

Speaker:

To like, oh,

Speaker:

yes, you do.

Speaker:

Yeah, the

Speaker:

pressure.

Speaker:

I've definitely played with these before, like, oh, great.

Speaker:

At a store.

Speaker:

Hold on, let me just plug it in.

Speaker:

Hold on.

Speaker:

Okay, here it goes.

Speaker:

See how

Speaker:

to put your arms there.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Plug it in.

Speaker:

You know what I remember now, it's when we went to Costa Rica at the wellness

Speaker:

center, they had these like in the waiting room, like in all the chairs.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

I'm gonna turn it on.

Speaker:

Well get ready to enjoy yourself.

Speaker:

Are you on?

Speaker:

Mm-hmm.

Speaker:

Okay, great.

Speaker:

So this review was written by Jacqueline W. As I said, it's a five star review.

Speaker:

Trey's mouth is already a gate.

Speaker:

The title of the review is Ong Shiatsu Back and Neck Massager Colon.

Speaker:

My new best friend, sorry, family.

Speaker:

Okay, here we go.

Speaker:

So I didn't think an electric needing massager pillow would change my life.

Speaker:

But after a week with the air long shiatsu massager, I'm questioning if I need any

Speaker:

other form of relaxation in my life.

Speaker:

It is basically a heated deep tissue wizard in a weirdly comfortable pillow.

Speaker:

Here's the scoop on my journey to massage Bliss.

Speaker:

First encounter colon.

Speaker:

That looks right.

Speaker:

When I took it outta the box, I thought this thing looks intense.

Speaker:

But once I figured it out, and those little four D

Speaker:

massage balls started moving.

Speaker:

I was convinced it had come from the future to save my back.

Speaker:

The first time it hit my shoulders, I made a noise that only my

Speaker:

pets have ever heard me make.

Speaker:

I'd apologized to them, but they're getting over it.

Speaker:

Operation Colon, not cordless.

Speaker:

Adventures.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

It's not cordless.

Speaker:

I know this, but every now and then I. Stand up with it attached.

Speaker:

Forget there's a cord and nearly yank the thing outta the wall.

Speaker:

It's a battle between my brain and these magic massage hands.

Speaker:

The massage hands are winning benefits.

Speaker:

One kneading that knows no mercy.

Speaker:

It's like having a personal masseuse who has no reservations.

Speaker:

About getting those knots out.

Speaker:

I'm not saying it's gentle, but I am saying it's effective.

Speaker:

Two.

Speaker:

Heat for the wind colon, the heat is heavenly, especially after a long day.

Speaker:

It's like someone said, what if a pillow could give you a hug and then

Speaker:

did one better with warmth and rolling fists, three multiple body parts.

Speaker:

My neck, shoulders back, basically anywhere can fit this thing.

Speaker:

I'm massaging it.

Speaker:

I even tried it on my calves and yeah, that's probably my

Speaker:

new favorite drawbacks colon.

Speaker:

The only real drawback here is the look of judgment I get from my family as I sit

Speaker:

there and blissful silence with this thing draped over me like it's the best friend

Speaker:

I never knew I needed, but honestly, if they tried it, they'd understand

Speaker:

and no, I don't plan on sharing.

Speaker:

Final verdict.

Speaker:

The Airlink Shiatsu massager isn't just a gadget, it's a lifestyle.

Speaker:

If you're ready to commit to an electric pillow that loves your back as much as

Speaker:

you do, buy it, just don't forget it's plugged in when you go wandering around.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

How you doing, Tre?

Speaker:

Do you feel a little more relaxed?

Speaker:

I didn't hear any of that.

Speaker:

Ooh.

Speaker:

That's good.

Speaker:

That says it all.

Speaker:

Do you see the heat?

Speaker:

Yeah, I see it.

Speaker:

It's like red.

Speaker:

How does it feel?

Speaker:

It actually, it's interesting 'cause it is like hard, like in a good way.

Speaker:

Like, okay.

Speaker:

Sometimes I feel like these massaging things are sort of like,

Speaker:

like weak?

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Like little.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Like, and the rotating balls are like.

Speaker:

Hard and large.

Speaker:

So it is like, it does feel like it's like working.

Speaker:

Are there different

Speaker:

modes?

Speaker:

'cause Jacqueline didn't talk about that.

Speaker:

Like can you make it more intense or less intense or That's

Speaker:

so I was reading the instructions in there.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Because it says you can change the direction.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

It says

Speaker:

there's three total speeds of intensity.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

So there are,

Speaker:

yeah.

Speaker:

I'm so happy.

Speaker:

Oh yeah.

Speaker:

Now it's really fast.

Speaker:

There you go.

Speaker:

I'm so happy that you love it.

Speaker:

Like Jacqueline,

Speaker:

first off, off the bat, I feel like the arm length is a little awkward.

Speaker:

Yeah, when I'm seeing, when I'm seeing you wearing that, um, I'm like, oh, maybe

Speaker:

that wouldn't even fit around my arms.

Speaker:

Like, it's like, it feels, it's kind of short.

Speaker:

It feels like I'm like a dangling little kid

Speaker:

and it doesn't really look like that.

Speaker:

In the picture of it, it really looks like she's just like very naturally.

Speaker:

I guess her elbows are beed, but

Speaker:

yeah, I would say they're just, the only negative I'm experiencing is

Speaker:

it's a, i I feel like I have a lot of tension in my forearms because

Speaker:

yes, I'm, I'm not in a natural.

Speaker:

What if

Speaker:

you crossed your arms like this?

Speaker:

I mean, I don't know if you could record like this.

Speaker:

You

Speaker:

know what I'll say?

Speaker:

It is really nice actually, especially changing the speed just then too.

Speaker:

Like it actually is massaging me.

Speaker:

It doesn't feel like stupid.

Speaker:

Have you gotten a pedicure and sat in one of those pedicures?

Speaker:

Better?

Speaker:

It's

Speaker:

better than that.

Speaker:

'cause I feel like it's better.

Speaker:

I feel like pedicure chairs are like, they're kind of weak and

Speaker:

they're also just sort of like, like it's not, does this really

Speaker:

feel like hands, like massaging you?

Speaker:

It feels electronic, but Okay.

Speaker:

It feel, it feels like, I don't know how to describe it.

Speaker:

It feels like multiple balls operating on different A accesses, so it.

Speaker:

It does feel like I actually really do like this.

Speaker:

Are you in Massage Bliss?

Speaker:

What'd you say?

Speaker:

I don't even know what I'm saying right now.

Speaker:

Ooh, I'm gonna try the lower.

Speaker:

That

Speaker:

is the heat.

Speaker:

Is the heat for the win.

Speaker:

Like would you say that the heat really helps?

Speaker:

Yeah, I was gonna talk

Speaker:

about the heat because I feel like sometimes heat just makes me sweaty.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

But I actually, it does now that I've taken it off.

Speaker:

The heat is like a very nice element.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

My main, my main complaint here with, um, Jacqueline, is that her name?

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Jacqueline.

Speaker:

Jacqueline.

Speaker:

WI

Speaker:

don't understand this whole conversation about it not being cordless, like in, in

Speaker:

my ex, in my opinion, I don't feel like I'm gonna be like walking around and

Speaker:

doing activities with the expectation that I'm gonna be being massaged.

Speaker:

Like the whole point of being massaged is that I'm staged there.

Speaker:

Is sitting there, right.

Speaker:

I guess, I don't know.

Speaker:

I feel like in today's a DHD world where we're kind of always running

Speaker:

around, at least for me it's like I'd be getting a massage and

Speaker:

I'm like, oh wait, I need water.

Speaker:

And then like I'll get up to go get water and be like, oh shit, I guess

Speaker:

so I can see it happening To me,

Speaker:

I guess I, I, the reason I think it's a complaint for me for a five star is that

Speaker:

I think it's an unnecessary negative.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

'cause if you think about other massage devices, a massage chair,

Speaker:

a foot massager, it's like you're staying, you gotta be stationary.

Speaker:

Yeah, that's true.

Speaker:

I

Speaker:

see how it would be an added benefit if it was four class.

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

I was gonna say, I

Speaker:

think there are some cordless ones that you like charge right There must be.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

So, or like maybe it's also like, oh, what if I wanna sit on my couch, but like my

Speaker:

couch doesn't have an outlet behind it.

Speaker:

So get

Speaker:

an extension cord.

Speaker:

I.

Speaker:

I don't know.

Speaker:

There, I I don't think I hear you.

Speaker:

Hear you.

Speaker:

I'm not buying

Speaker:

it as a complaint.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

But I think it's valuable.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Because if you do feel like, well, I wanna be massaging my

Speaker:

neck as I'm folding laundry.

Speaker:

Sure.

Speaker:

Like, I don't understand like why you would be exerting energy when

Speaker:

you're trying to get relaxed, but.

Speaker:

Uh, I understand that that would be an added bonus, but if this is such

Speaker:

a five star, I don't think I would include it, but I'm hearing that

Speaker:

that's a distinction that's valuable.

Speaker:

So yeah.

Speaker:

Good job for, and also, like

Speaker:

we've said in the past, the, like o the opposite of a compliment

Speaker:

sandwich, the positivity sandwich.

Speaker:

In a five star review does sort of make me believe Jacqueline A. Little bit more

Speaker:

'cause they're not just a total Pollyanna.

Speaker:

No, I definitely believe them.

Speaker:

Um, I feel like they missed an opportunity at humor when they

Speaker:

said, I. Neck, shoulders and back.

Speaker:

I think we, you even sort of started it.

Speaker:

Kind of, but I just wish Jacqueline had said, my neck, my back, my neck,

Speaker:

my back, my shoulders, my shoulder.

Speaker:

Anywhere I, my shoulder and my anywhere.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Um, yeah.

Speaker:

And also that I'm not sharing, I recognize I relate hardcore.

Speaker:

Really?

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Will you not share that with David?

Speaker:

You know, that's why would David and I work well?

Speaker:

'cause he doesn't like massages.

Speaker:

Oh.

Speaker:

What?

Speaker:

Crazy.

Speaker:

It's not his crazy.

Speaker:

It's not his thing.

Speaker:

Interesting.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

I can tell you more about it on the after show.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

He doesn't like being like, you know, he doesn't need to get a massage.

Speaker:

Me.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

I could,

Speaker:

I love a massage.

Speaker:

I could lose my

Speaker:

entire retirement massages.

Speaker:

Um, let's love a, love a massage.

Speaker:

Let's talk about the spelling grammar.

Speaker:

Really good, really well organized.

Speaker:

We had a list going.

Speaker:

We're using colons.

Speaker:

We're dividing into sections.

Speaker:

I thought it was like very easy to read, very easy to understand.

Speaker:

I read this or I was like, truth be told, was like, trace seems very stressed.

Speaker:

I want to get him a birthday gift that's gonna make him relax a little bit.

Speaker:

And I came across this product, read this review, click purchase.

Speaker:

So I think it is effective.

Speaker:

It's really well organized.

Speaker:

I think there's a lot of value.

Speaker:

Trey's back in his massage or just enjoy yourself.

Speaker:

Trey, I'll go through the talking points.

Speaker:

That's totally fine.

Speaker:

Well, I'm saying it looks like I'm having a hard time focusing, so I don't

Speaker:

understand getting up and walking around and getting yanked on the wall, but

Speaker:

I've already beat that into the ground.

Speaker:

Well, clearly because Trey is enjoying himself, so, which

Speaker:

please enjoy yourself, queen.

Speaker:

I am gonna go ahead and say that it is common.

Speaker:

Um, definitely seems to be working on.

Speaker:

Trey Tre already mentioned we missed an opportunity from humor.

Speaker:

Impact for me was that I went ahead and clicked purchase impact for Trey is that

Speaker:

he's comatose for the rest of the episode.

Speaker:

So I think that pretty much covers it all.

Speaker:

You know what's interesting,

Speaker:

like from the live review perspective here is like.

Speaker:

Because you can pull down with your arms, like you can adjust, control that.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Um, and it really is that feeling of when you're getting a knot

Speaker:

moved around, like it's a very severe, like in a good way for me.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

I like massage to be hard.

Speaker:

Like I can feel it like digging into these knots and, but I don't

Speaker:

like, I like more of like a medium firm, so I would just not pull down as hard.

Speaker:

Exactly.

Speaker:

It's a good conceit.

Speaker:

I do wish it was a little longer.

Speaker:

I really appreciate the live review aspect of this.

Speaker:

You know, uh, assessing of the vetch 'cause I think it's sort

Speaker:

of pointing out to me maybe some holes in Jacqueline's review.

Speaker:

I think I have enough information to crown Jacqueline, what do you think?

Speaker:

Um, yeah, I feel the heat is standout.

Speaker:

The rolling fist I can feel.

Speaker:

I think I could crown Jacqueline.

Speaker:

All right, let's do it.

Speaker:

So Chelsey and I each have our own set of zero to five crown cards.

Speaker:

In an effort to be fair and not influence one another, we'll

Speaker:

simultaneously reveal our ratings.

Speaker:

The queens are tabulating.

Speaker:

Chose the school.

Speaker:

All right.

Speaker:

Trey asked me, Jack on a review.

Speaker:

Queen.

Speaker:

I think it's because he is feeling extra generous with his massage.

Speaker:

I went with four and a half crowns.

Speaker:

Trey, if you feel like you're ready, you can go first.

Speaker:

Why did you make Jacqueline a review queen?

Speaker:

Well, I was, besides the fact that it made me purchase those for you,

Speaker:

I was gonna do four and a half as well.

Speaker:

But then your point about like mentioning the one complaint sort

Speaker:

of makes it feel more trustworthy.

Speaker:

Um, and like I think when you're looking for like a massaging device,

Speaker:

I don't wanna say it like that.

Speaker:

When you're looking for a massager like.

Speaker:

I don't know.

Speaker:

I just feel like the levity, but like, I'm not sharing.

Speaker:

I, you know, it's like, what was their title?

Speaker:

It's like my family, like, I never thought, you know, like they're winking.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

My new best

Speaker:

friend, sorry, family.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

It's sort of like there's enough wink wink at like, you know, we're not curing cancer

Speaker:

over here where like getting a massage

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

Strappy thing.

Speaker:

Um, yeah.

Speaker:

And like obviously you bought it and.

Speaker:

I just think when you're in the review section, things can get so haywire

Speaker:

that like I appreciate the clarity, the point of view, the in and out quick

Speaker:

and like it obviously had an impact.

Speaker:

Why did you do a half crown less?

Speaker:

Only because I felt like in your live review today, you gave me information that

Speaker:

Jacqueline didn't give me in her review.

Speaker:

I wish that Jacqueline had just mentioned there's different modes.

Speaker:

If you pull it harder, it will be more intense.

Speaker:

Just like a little bit more information about the product.

Speaker:

Yes, of course I could read the description and I could do all that,

Speaker:

but still at the end of the day, like you wanna know what Jacqueline's

Speaker:

receiving in the mail, including the various ways of using it.

Speaker:

And I feel like Jacqueline could have just dug a teeny bit deeper there

Speaker:

and then for sure would've been a review queen, but obviously nearly a

Speaker:

review Queen made me click purchase.

Speaker:

I think that it's obviously truthful.

Speaker:

Trey is enjoying it.

Speaker:

So

Speaker:

just turned off four

Speaker:

and a half crowns.

Speaker:

Did you turn it off by accident?

Speaker:

No, it has a 10 minute thing.

Speaker:

Oh, okay.

Speaker:

Well, great review and, um, great product.

Speaker:

Thank you for sending it.

Speaker:

Thank you for this.

Speaker:

Of course.

Speaker:

Enjoy.

Speaker:

I feel so much relaxed.

Speaker:

More relaxed.

Speaker:

I'm so happy.

Speaker:

I mean, I know after that vet you were really stressed, so I,

Speaker:

you know, I'm glad we had this.

Speaker:

I

Speaker:

don't even remember.

Speaker:

Ooh, that's right.

Speaker:

All right, queen.

Speaker:

We've aired our grievances.

Speaker:

We've inspected a review.

Speaker:

We've relaxed a little bit, so now let's shine light on something

Speaker:

truly deserving of a crown.

Speaker:

We have reached the most regal portion of our show.

Speaker:

Trey, who are you inducting for?

Speaker:

My royal

Speaker:

line

Speaker:

is, well, this is just very short and simple.

Speaker:

Today, I need us all to take a moment, send positive energy,

Speaker:

throw five crowns, throw five stars to the experience in life.

Speaker:

When you get on an elevator all alone, those doors close.

Speaker:

No one joins you.

Speaker:

You get peace and serenity and these tiny four by four boxes

Speaker:

going up and down in space.

Speaker:

You can just collect your thoughts.

Speaker:

You push the button.

Speaker:

You don't have to worry about smells.

Speaker:

People looking the wrong way.

Speaker:

Have I complained about in the past?

Speaker:

Mm-hmm.

Speaker:

People trying to make small talk and a very small, confined

Speaker:

space just being alone.

Speaker:

Period.

Speaker:

But being alone in an elevator I love you like is really a wonderful thing.

Speaker:

Especially when you like see them running and you're like, Nope, no, no, not that.

Speaker:

Not that.

Speaker:

Just being alone in an elevator.

Speaker:

That's my Royal Highness today.

Speaker:

What a great induction.

Speaker:

So true.

Speaker:

I love when it works out that way.

Speaker:

It sucks when there's like somebody at the last minute that's like, wait, wait.

Speaker:

And you're like, okay, I'm not gonna be a jerk.

Speaker:

But also I thought I would be alone.

Speaker:

That was great.

Speaker:

I love that.

Speaker:

Well,

Speaker:

thank you.

Speaker:

Well, we did a queen that was another round on the R-U-A-R-Q Ferris wheel

Speaker:

of my neck, my shoulders, my back.

Speaker:

Anywhere else I'd choose.

Speaker:

Uh, that's right.

Speaker:

Thank you for joining us today.

Speaker:

If you like what you heard or saw, please tell a friend

Speaker:

we did not like what you heard or saw.

Speaker:

Please tell an enemy on today's after show pod.

Speaker:

Chelsey and I are gonna be rating and reviewing a three star Amazon review.

Speaker:

For empty spray bottles.

Speaker:

Well, I wonder why.

Speaker:

This

Speaker:

was

Speaker:

said.

Speaker:

Um, let's go back to

Speaker:

Chatty Cathy.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Let's go back to, so I'm just saying all that long way around the barn, we, oh

Speaker:

wait, well we got to this by saying not to be ageist and then we

Speaker:

ranted for 10 minutes being ageist.

Speaker:

But this

Speaker:

is the after show we're allowed, this is behind the curtain.

Speaker:

This is what you get if you're here on the after show.

Speaker:

Um, hello.

Speaker:

Anyway, the point is not to be ageist.

Speaker:

But I do think that there is a barrier to entry.

Speaker:

Hmm

Speaker:

hmm.

Speaker:

Wow.

Speaker:

I wonder, I look so much more relaxed in the future.

Speaker:

True.

Speaker:

Please, Queens.

Speaker:

Remember,

Speaker:

ignore the haters.

Speaker:

You're a queen.

Speaker:

Get yourself a massage.

Speaker:

Gender nonspecific queen.

Speaker:

Get yourself a massage.

Speaker:

That's right.

Speaker:

Love you.

Speaker:

Love y'all.

Speaker:

I can see how, you know, it just relaxes the muscles a little bit more.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

There you go.

Speaker:

You deserve a try.

Speaker:

It does need a lot harder than I anticipated.
